Rescue:
A husband and wife who live in a small community noticed a mother cat and her wee kittens in
their back yard. It was intersting to watch the interactions of them with each other, their ever
present mother and nature. There was always caution over shadowing every move they
made. Food was put out for them and fresh water supplied as well. If they were going to
reside there, they were going to be healthy. One day they noticed the mother was not around
them any longer and by day two it was eveident that she was not or could not come back to
protect them. A plan had to be put in place. The couple had a humane trap and rigged it so it
would trip when the light weight kitten entered. Soon all five of the little ones were inside their
home, safe and sound. They were under 5 weekd of age. Once of age, the couple found
homes for three of the five and little Lovee and Mr Tabby came into Pet Patrol care. They
were happy, healthy and well adjusted kittens.
Personality:
Mr. Tabby is outgoing and very playful. He is curious about everything that his foster mom is
doing and typically stays near her most of the time. He has the cutest meows and is very
cuddly and affectionate with both herself and his sibling. Lovee was shy at first, and still is
sometimes but the more time she has been in her foster home the more she is coming out of
her shell. She will come to people for pets, and is also fairly curious. She is an intelligent girl
and you can always tell she’s got something on her mind. She loves to run around the house,
up and down the stairs, and play tag with her brother. Mr. Tabby and Lovee are ready to be
adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them
safely indoors
