Rescue:
Sometimes other cat rescue organizations reach out to Pet Patrol to see if we can take in a
cat or two, ones they have not been able to find foster homes for. Pet Patrol has been around
for a very long time and we do have a fair number of fosters and we do have a sanctuary which
is fairly rare for non-profit organizations. Soon the three little cats came in, this would be rider
and his two sisters Ribbon and Ripple. Lovely cats who were just really frightened. They had
been found in someone’s yard, living in the garden shed. The people were good to them
making sure they had food and water but they couldn’t stay there. The kittens were getting to
an age where if they were not rescued soon, they may not be able to be socialized. These
three kittens have found that with a little time and patience people are pretty nice.
Personality:
Ryder has come a long way since he first arrived. Initially, he was shy and unsure about playing
with toys and receiving cuddles. Now, he loves attention and will snuggle up to you to ask for
some pets. He is very affectionate and purrs contently when getting a chin rub. He is always
ready to play and can often be seen with a toy beside him, even while taking a nap. He is
energetic and loves wrestling with his siblings and stealing their toys! Ryder is ready to be
adopted into his forever home with a sibling or playmate. One that will welcome him into the
family and keep him safely indoors.
