Rescue:
One of our volunteers works at a hospital and she had been approached by the security guard.
They were on break and watching the torrential downpour outside worried about the cats who
are living on the street and how were they going to fair through this storm. The security guard
mentioned that she and her husband have a hobby farm with an endless number of cats it
seems. They are not big on putting the money out to have them spayed or neutered and so
therefore the cats continually breed. Since that first conversation Pet Patrol has taken in quite
a few cats from this property and our volunteer is helping to have the adults spayed/neutered
at a local low-cost clinic. Little Jason, brother Jamie and their family are all nice little kittens,
easy to pick up and pet. They were very concerned about their change of lifestyle from the
barn to a nice play room, but soon adjusted and have done extremely well in our care.
Personality:
Jason and Jamie are very inquisitive and like to explore. They find a lot of things to chase
around, but the best are the plastic springs and puffy balls. They have the zoomies on a daily
basis and happily dive through the kitty tunnel and cardboard boxes with peep holes. They
like to climb the kitty tree and are part of the WWF (World Wrestling Felines). They have a
down time as well and like their people attention, cuddling and a nice nap on a lap. Jason and
Jamie are nice little cats who are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will
welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
