Rescue:
Baby Zippy and his feline family were discovered in the bushes in a subdivision of a large city.
There were dense branches and leaves, which provided shade from the summer heat, but were
on either side of cement steps leading to the front door of the house. One of Pet Patrol’s
volunteers was sent a video showing the kittens hiding in fear as people were milling about,
pulling back the branches to expose them, talking loudly and the mother cat was hissing at
them all. The discussion was about rescuing them but sure enough, because of the commotion,
the mama moved the kittens. About a week later they found her a block down the street
when someone spotted one of the tiny kittens darting around. It was quickly rescued and the
next day the other four kittens were brought into care. It took a while to get the mother cat, but
she is now, also, in a foster home
Personality:
Zippy is a very happy kitten and easily entertained. He likes playing with all types of toys :
balls with bells, things that crinkle, the kitty tunnel and anything that dangles. All kittens like the
wand toys and Zippy is no exception liking to leap and chase it creating good exercise and
entertainment for all. This little one also has down time and likes to cuddle with his people as
well as his siblings. It is always advised that kittens are adopted with a playmate in the house to
keep it entertained and it’s endless energy engaged. Zippy is ready to be adopted into his
forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors
