Rescue:
Maggie was adopted by a nice couple from a family whose cat had had kittens. She was a
welcomed addition to the family and is much loved. But life changes some times and the
couple found themselves moving to the other side of the world. They looked at all the ways
they could take her with them but in the end felt that Maggie would not do well with the travel
and adjustment. It is an extremely long trip involving changing planes and waiting periods,
there is a long quarantine period in the new country and being selective about her food, they
feared they would not be able to find the same brand there. “I hope and pray someone can
give her a good loving home”.
Personality:
“Maggie has her quirks, sometimes she reminds me of a dog, she has a favourite piece of
wire that is generally used to make a necklace, she will bring it to me to toss across the living
room and she will chase it and sometimes bring it back for a second or third go. She shies
away from children but is great with adults and sometimes favours men more. She loves
having her back patted right at the tailbone and will ask to have her head pet or scratched
when she head butts your hand. She also has a habit when you are in the kitchen of flopping
right behind you and rolling around until you either rub her belly or pat her back. We are looking
for a loving home for our special lady.” Maggie is ready to be adopted into her forever
home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors
