Rescue:

This is a sad and desperate story of four little kittens, Huxley, Hedley, Haize and Holton, who
were purposely abandoned. A truck driver who was heading home from work, pulled over onto
the side of the road in a remote area. It was just before the sun went down but he could still
see without using lighting when he got out of the truck. Immediately he heard the frightened
and frantic cries of kittens and then all four of these babies crawled out from the ditch and
bounded towards him. They were climbing his pant legs trying to get up into his arms. Skinny
and hoping to be saved they clung to him. Looking around the man could see there were no
houses or barns in this desolate area, so he called a friend who was connected to Pet Patrol
to see if they could help. The kittens were brought to the volunteer’s house where she gave
them some food and water and then transported them to Pet Patrol’s care. Within an hour the
kittens were at the sanctuary purring and kneading the floor as they devoured the food and
water. With full bellies and a nice warm and dry place to be they soon fell into a deep and
contented sleep.

Personality:

Hedley is the bobtail, and is the most well mannered and low energy of them all. He’s a suck and loves to be picked up and carried, receive head scratches and will join in on the fun or play by himself. He will cuddle up in the softest places and supervises his siblings’ antics. He enjoys plushy toys and things that make noises. He’s the lone wolf but would benefit from another cat or kitten.  Hedley is ready to be adopted into his forever home with a sibling.  One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors
