Rescue:

An older couple had noticed a mother cat and her kittens in the neighbours yard. They called
the city shelter to rescue these homeless cats luckily someone did. That evening they heard a
wee kitten crying frantically in their backyard. Using a flashlight in the dark the couple located
a little white kitten underneath their water reservoir. This was a big vat that collected the water
from the downspouts off their home to water their garden. The area was very damp and wet,
and the kitten was sitting in mud and water. As they tried to reach for her she went further back
where the conditions were no better. Not able to do much more they made sure she had food,
water and put something down so she was not getting muddy feet. In the morning they successfully
rescued her and called Pet Patrol. The city shelter would not take her even though
they had her mom and siblings.

Personality:

Looking at her angelic little face you would not know that this kitten was described as a ‘fire
cracker’ by the veterinarian clinic. She was a busy girl during her examination, very active and
outgoing and proved to be too much for kittens her own age. Pure white except for a slight
grey smudge on the top of her head, Lacey is part of the WWF (world wrestling felines) and
would do better with a larger kitty or with a gentle happy go lucky dog. She is adorable, loves
to be picked up and cuddled and is very sweet with her people. Lacey is ready to be adopted
into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors
