Rescue:

Poor Kane. He was found outside trying to survive on next to nothing. He was noticed in a
neighbourhood where there are several orange cats that are homeless. No one seemed to
know where they had migrated from, but the houses do border on farmland, and the cats may
have migrated from a barn. The woman who had in the past adopted cats from us, noticed
that Kane had a very badly infected eye. She wasn’t sure why the cats had settled in her
backyard but it was completely fenced in and a safe haven for cats who feel they will become
prey. He was easily and humanely trapped and brought into Pet Patrol care where, although
nervous and unsure, allowed us to administer medication to his eye and help him recover from
his ordeal

Personality:

Kane is a pretty laid back boy. He has seen more in his life than most cats have, and not all
good. So now he takes life in stride. He is a gentle player but loves the affection and attention
from other people especially a belly rub. The best! Whenever he gets his food bowl filled or
treats come his way, he turns into the happiest little kitty. He is a snuggler too, and will rub up
against your legs. He is great company to his foster mom when she is doing her exercises,
helping her to count and stretch. Kane is a wonderful cat who is good company. He is fine
with other cats and is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him
into the family and keep him safely indoors
