ADOPTION PROFILE

Marley

Marley

Marley

Rescue:

Marley and three others from her colony were born in a barn, in a small village. There are only
about thirty odd houses there, neighbours know neighbours, and they know the stray cats
roaming around as well. Since it is far enough off the main highway, but is populated, it is not
unusual for people to be dropping off unwanted cats there. The farm that Marley came from is
at the bottom of the hill and as the colony grew the cats would start to wander about. One day
four of the cats, quite young at the time, appeared at a nice couple’s home at the top of the
small hill. They checked around to see who might own the cats and found the farm owner. Fast
forward a few years and the farm was being sold and the nice couple were moving as well.
What to do with the cats? Pet Patrol was called and the farmer kept one cat, the couple kept
another and Marley and one more came into our care.

Personality:

Marley is a very sweet and cuddly girl, and is very beautiful inside and out. As a well behaved
kitty she is friendly, curls up on you purring and nuzzles under your chin. Her favorite toy is a
feather on a string, but she will play with anything, even a carrot top LOL. She is very playful in
the evenings until she tuckers herself out. You can hold her in your arms and carry her around
for a few minutes, then it’s time to get down and play. Her meow is soft except when it is time
for her canned food, she is one of the best cats her foster mom has ever had. Marley is ready
to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her
safely indoors
