Jazell – not ready

Rescue:

Jazell and her feline family were born on a property that houses and sells recreational vehicles.
The two ladies that manage the office have looked after these cats for many years. They
are quite passionate about them, and made sure that they were fed twice daily, even on their
days off. Shelter was provided for the cats, year round, that were insulated and had straw in
them to keep the cats warm and dry. The owners of the company are retiring and the property
has been sold and will be redeveloped, and the women wondered what will happen to the
cats? A visiting couple took note of the situation and reached out to Pet Patrol to see if we
could be able to help. They offered to rescued the cats and each day they brought in one or
two cats until they were safely in our care. Although the kitties were not sure of the new people,
they were not aggressive and some quite petable. It wont take long for them to be socialized
as the women had earned their trust.

Personality:

Jazell, like the rest of her siblings, has taken a while to trust people for touching and petting,
but is coming along well. She previously had shelter and food. There were people mingling
around her; but not for affection and attention. She has done well in a short period of time in
her foster home and is an expert at playing with toys she can chase down. Jazell, when comfortable,
will lay on her side for a few belly rubs, loves head scratches and is very motivated by
a treat. If you sit on the floor she will come right to you and greet you. She will purr when she
is next to you, is well behaved and likes to sleep on the bed. Sudden movements will startle
her. Jazell is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the
family and keep her safely indoors
