Rescue:

Jaide and her feline family were born on a property that houses and sells recreational vehicles. The two ladies that manage the office have looked after these cats for many years. They
are quite passionate about them, and made sure that they were fed twice daily, even on their
days off. Shelter was provided for the cats, year round, that were insulated and had straw in
them to keep the cats warm and dry. The owners of the company are retiring and the property
has been sold and will be redeveloped, and the women wondered what will happen to the
cats? A visiting couple took note of the situation and reached out to Pet Patrol to see if we
would be able to help. They offered to rescued the cats and each day they brought in one or
two cats until they were all safely in our care. Although the kitties were not sure of the new people, they were not aggressive and some quite petable. It wont take long for them to be socialized as the women had earned their trust.

Personality:

Jaide is a shy but curious cat who loves sitting by the window and playing with her toys. Her
favourite game is chasing wand toys, especially when they suddenly hide and then pop out
again. When she is more confident, she loves scratches almost everywhere (even her belly
sometimes) and being pet while on the window sill. She can be an absolute purring machine!
She likes to be next to you but isn’t sure about the lap or being carried just yet. She communicates by looking at you or putting her paw on you when she wants attention, treats or her
canned food bedtime snack. Jaide has a habit of hissing first, then ask for love second, but
will never show aggression as she is quite gentle. This kitty is ready to be adopted into her
forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
