Rescue:

Valentino was rescued from living a dreary life on the street. He, his mom and siblings were
being fed by a nice couple, who had already rescued the rest of his feline family, before he
came into Pet Patrol care. All the cats were friendly and easily socialized, and have long
since gone to their forever homes. But Valentino was more elusive and it took a long time to
gain his trust and rescued him. His home was where he was born; underneath a set of steps
at a large feed mill. There was a small hole that led under the building where the cats found
shelter but it was impossible to reach in and touch them. Over time the couple who fed him,
socialized him and he trusted them. When the day came for Valentino’s rescue, they easily
picked him up and popped him into the carrier. He was then on his way to Pet Patrol and a
new life.

Personality:

When Valentino first went to his foster home, he was very nervous and scared of people, but
loved to be pet. He hid under his foster mom’s couch for the first week, but he has slowly come
out of his shell and is making his personality known as his confidence grows. Once he is
comfortable he is very playful and energetic. He likes all kinds of toys but the plastic springs
are his favourite and little stuffed mice. He loves attention and cuddling and will seek out his
person and if there is a soft blanket around, even better. Valentino is very expressive, can be
chatty, and purrs easily and often. He is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that
will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
