Rescue:
“I’m on my way!” was the excited comment from the man who had Camryn in a carrier in his car. He mentioned he would be there in about an hour and a half. (?!). He was from quite a distance away apparently and mentioned he could not find anyone in his area that he truly trusted to handover this sweet cat to. Camryn had been found roaming the man’s neighbourhood for several days. Quite a number of people knew of him and were feeding him but no one would take him indoors. And that’s all that this little cat wanted; was to be back inside a house. From the bits and pieces of information we were given he had not been posted on any of the lost pet sites, he had no microchip but yet he had notches in his ears. Apparently, that is a sign that he was neutered at the local shelter. He was considered a trap neuter release. This means a stray cat is found, fixed, identified by notching the ears, and then released. But this was not the life that Camryn wanted. He preferred to be indoors and it is quite obvious with his personality that he was used to a family home. Now safe in Pet Patrol’s care Camryn is ready for his dream to be fulfilled. He will not ever have to worry about surviving on the street again.
Personality:
Camryn is an awesome cat. He is wonderful, kind and loving. He is an easy going boy who likes to be with his people, to be pet and cuddled and be near you at all times. Such good company. Being a laid back cat he plays gently with toys and anything with catnip is his most favourite. He is good with interactive play such as the laser light and wand toys. He has been comfortable with meeting other cats at the sanctuary and would be ok with one other or as an only cat. Camryn has been a delight to have at the sanctuary and is now ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
