Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a call from a rather tearful woman about her 13 year old pet cat. She
took him from a co-worker many years ago when they threatened to dump or drown him.
She just could not see why someone would be so cruel to a little cat. Named Juice by her
very young daughter, this handsome boy has lived with her and her family ever since, becoming
a much loved pet. Unfortunately the marriage has broken down and she and her
daughter have moved into an apartment in a house but were unable to keep Juice with them.
The person living in the other flat is highly allergic. This is nonnegotiable. By now the husband
no longer wants the cat living with him because his driving schedule keeps him away
from home too much. It is with a heavy heart that the woman needed to re home Juice but
she has no choice. There were many tears and a very upset child as our volunteer drove
away with Juice to deliver him into Pet Patrol care.

Personality:

Juice was named by her daughter when she was quite young and it stuck. He is described
as amiable and friendly with people and other animals. Comfortable in his environment and
good company. He is a healthy big boy, tall and long and some people think he has Main
Coon in him. As an older cat he is reasonably active and known as a big baby who loves
cuddling and food. He was a much loved cat and his previous owner was quite upset that
she was unable to find someone she knows to take him. But now in Pet Patrol care Juice is
ready to be adopted into his forever family. One that will welcome him into the family and
keep him safely indoors
