Jiffy & Jetson

Jiffy & Jetson

Jiffy & Jetson

Rescue:

Jiffy and Jetson and their feline family were born on a property that houses and sells recreational
vehicles. The two ladies that manage the office are sisters and have looked after
these cats for many years. They are quite passionate about them and made sure that they
are fed twice daily, even on their days off. Shelters were provided for the cats, year round,
that were insulated and had straw in them to keep the cats warm and dry. The owners of
the company are retiring and the property has been sold and will be redeveloped, and the
sisters wondered what will happen to the cats? A visiting couple took note of the situation
and reached out to Pet Patrol to see if we would be able to help. They offered to rescue the
cats and each day they brought in one or two cats until they were all safely in our care.
Although the kitties were not sure of the new people, they are petable and not aggressive.
It won’t take long for them to be socialized as the sisters had earned their trust.

Personality:

Jiffy and Jetson are very sweet boys that are quiet at first, when they are introduced to a
new environment, but love to sit and cuddle on our lap when comfortable. They have never
had such luxuries as a soft bed, carpet and people to tend to them. Both boys are quite
happy to be indoor cats now. They are curious cats and want to know about everything in
their home, how the rooms are arranged and what is in them. They like their people and are
interested in what you are doing. Toys were always a mystery to them, but now they are
quite fond of the wand toy, catnip mice and crinkle balls. Jiffy and Jetson are very attached
to each other. If they cannot find each other one will meow until the other one comes running,
they touch noses and give a little head butt, then off to play or snuggle up. They are
ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and
keep them safely indoors
