Rescue:

Garvey was adopted as a kitten seven years ago, from the city shelter, by a man who lived
in an apartment building. He has a microchip which tells his owners name, address and
phone number. The mystery is : how did Garvey get from living with him as a baby to begging
at the back doors of country homes seven years later, and in a completely different
area? A kind lady fed Garvey and recognized that he was a friendly and affectionate boy
but very uncomfortable being outside. He tried to be let inside the house, was frightened
and stressed. She brought this lovely tall, long, but oh so skinny, boy to Pet Patrol where
he quickly made himself at home. When tracing the information on the microchip we found
the phone number was disconnected, the man no longer lives at the apartment and he is not
on social media. Poor Garvey. No way to get him back to his original owner, and we wonder
what happened to him in those seven years.

Personality:

Garvey is an easy cat to live with. He has a sunny disposition, is good with other cats and
new people. The first night in his foster home he slept on her, which must have been very
comforting for both. He will greet you at the door, is interested in what you do and very
sweet natured. He is a gentle and loving cat who deserves to have a wonderful new life
with someone who appreciates and adores him. Garvey is ready to be adopted into his
forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
