Rescue:

There is a woman who lives in a small village, who has been taking in cats from her neighbours’
property for years. They wander over to her empty chicken coop to safely have their
kittens, she rescues the moms and babies, has them spayed/neutered and finds them
homes or brings them to Pet Patrol. The farm has always been in pretty rough shape but is
now doing better under new ownership. When the woman felt everything was under control,
she received a call from the neighbour across the road. This is a traditional farm where
things are done the old fashioned way, they dress mostly the same and farming is their
way of making a living. He said that he had just too many cats on the property and would
she be interested in helping re home them. He introduced her to Bethany. She had been
petted and handled by the people on the farm, so being social she was welcomed at Pet
Patrol. Initially she was concerned about the new environment, but one pet led to deep
purrs and then a belly rub. She was safe and, on her way to being adopted.

Personality:

Bethany is a very sweet and gentle little cat with the cutest face. She makes friends with
everyone and is quite happy to curl up with another cat or with her people. She is adorable.
She has never had toys to play with and the simplest one, a ball with a bell, was a bit
of a mystery to her. It will be exciting for her to investigate the wand toys, laser pen light
and catnip mice. Her new family will have the pleasure of seeing her live in a real home for
the first time and learn about things that are taken for granted. Bethany is in her element
to have soft beds, clean floors and people to love her. She is ready to be adopted into her
forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
