Rescue:

Many text messages come into the Pet Patrol office on a daily basis. It’s hard to keep up
with those and the phone calls but one caught our attention right away. Someone who lived
on a semi rural property and had a woodshed saw a tiny kitten out of the corner of his eye.
When he turned to look again it disappeared. The wood pile can create many tunnels leading
into hidden spaces at the back, and that can create a maze for kittens to hide him. The
man immediately set out food and was hoping to see the mom and wanted to count the
number of kittens to make sure he knew exactly how many were there. Only Quill and
Quinta came out for the food and the man took note right away of how thin and dirty they
were. Obviously, they had not received nutrition for a while. We will never know how they
came to live in the shed but what we do know is they are now safe and loved.

Personality:

Quinta is a real people cat. She never wants to be too far from the action when you’re
around, and gives the sweetest kisses. She likes lots of pets and cuddling, wand toys, and
napping with her brother. Quill is a little more independent. He prefers to find a comfy place
to perch and watch, but he’s very confident in his space and will investigate new things. His
favorite pass times are balls on a track, and napping with his sister. They are inseparable
and seek each other out for play and cuddling, but also appreciate their people as well.
Both Quill and Quinta are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome
them into the family together, and keep them safely indoors.
