Rescue:

A lady had messaged Pet Patrol and also left a phone message in regards to six kittens
living under her back deck. She was quite concerned for them and have a very difficult time
trying to rescue them. She was trying to hand catch them which can be quite risky as the kittens could be frightened and bite, and also the whole experience can be terrifying for them. Using a carrier baited with stinky canned food the kittens went in eagerly to eat. The door was gently closed behind them and they were safe. The next door neighbor offered her basement spare bedroom for the kittens to live in until other plans could be made. At least now they were inside and safe. Three appeared to be quite shy and three were fairly friendly. A Pet Patrol volunteer went over to rescue the kittens but having a stranger in their room was concerning. Gently and slowly she was able to rescue them and provide them with safe transportation to the sanctuary.

Personality:

Hufflepuff is an absolute sweetheart who will start purring before your hand even touches
her. She is the brave sister who loves to explore the house and all the new toys, with her sister Henna in tow. Especially when there are treats involved! This little girl is friendly through
and through and she wants all the attention you can give her. Hufflepuff and Henna are
bonded and if a sister goes off in separate direction they will call out in a high pitched meow
looking for the other. They are the queens of cat naps! They love to find a small place to
cocoon and curl up together for their beauty rest. Once rested you can find them chasing
each other around the room and flipping over one another or sitting by the window watching
the birds go by. Hufflepuff is ready to be adopted into her forever home with her sister.
One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors
