Rescue:
A small rescue in a village had received a call from a couple that lived on the outskirts of the
town. They had moved there from the city, looking for the peace and tranquility of the country.
What they didn’t realize was how many cats would be abandoned in their area. The
strays would show up and being animal lovers, they brought them into the house, as they
didn’t want to see them hit on the road. Over time a few more showed up, as the cats
migrated from surrounding farms as well, and they tended to their injuries and fed them well.
This is all fine and good, but there was no population control. As a result the cats were
breeding rapidly and they could find homes for just so many, and then they exhausted their
contacts. Better at controlling population by the time they contacted the small rescued, by
isolating the females when they were in heat, but still the colony grew to thirty felines and
the woman sought out help to rehome the cats. Being a sizable colony, and luckily all indoors,
they eventually all came into Pet Patrol care including pretty little Gracie and her
siblings Gale, Gandalf, Gia and Gerald.
Personality:
Watch out for your toes! Gracie is a lively girl, always ready to play. Be it a toy, her sister or
a mini-wheat (her favourite toy), Gracie will jump on it full force! She is very social and will
follow you around the house and get involved in everything you do. This pretty kitty loves
affection but look out- she comes for love but it often turns into a gentle play time. When
tired, she will curl up on the bed or cat tree with her sister, Gale. Gracie is ready to be
adopted into her forever home with her sister. One that will welcome them into the family
and keep them safely indoors
