Kiwi

Rescue:

A woman who does cat rescued in the country was contacted by a couple that lived on the
edge of town. They had moved there from the city looking for the peace and tranquility that
country living can provide. What they didn’t realize was how many cats would be dumped
off or migrate to their property. It started a couple years ago, the strays would show up
thin and disheveled, but being animal lovers they brought them into the house. They didn’t
want to see the cat get hit on the road or suffer from becoming prey. Some looked pretty
good but bewildered by being outside, those were abandoned cats, others smelled like a
barn and probably came from surrounding farms were there was no population control. By
having them in the house, and not being able to afford to have all of them spayed or neutered,
it resulted in many litters of kittens. They became more educated about cat breeding
and started to isolate the females that were in heat. By this time the colony had grown to
thirty cats and help was needed to find these cats, all social and friendly, forever homes

Personality:

Kiwi is the only other girl of her litter but that doesn’t stop her from joining in on the kitty
Olympics. She is from a litter of seven, so it is not likely she will be timid of the activity
which includes the 10′ dash and the high jumps onto the kitty climber. She is investigative
and wants to see what each toy is all about, how to play with it and can it be chased. She is
easy to love because she is so sweet and easy to cuddle. Kiwi is a snugly kitten for sure
and likes to be with her people and her sibling equally. She is fine with children enjoys their
energy and activity. Kiwi is ready to be adopted with a playmate into her forever home.
One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
