Rescue:

Anders and his siblings came from a country property where they had been living in a barn with
their mama, Angel. The woman renting the barn was preparing to move across Canada with her
horses, goats, and dog, and the property owner did not want the cats left behind. After a long drive
to the sanctuary, the six kittens arrived together in a large dog crate, dirty and in desperate need of
a cleanup. Everyone received a bath, which these gentle kittens handled remarkably well. Although
initially nervous about suddenly having ceilings, windows, and walls around them, Anders and his
siblings quickly settled into the comforts and safety of indoor life.

Personality:

Anders is a striking little boy with heterochromia and a sweet personality that reveals itself as he
gets to know you. He can be shy at first and likes having some time to become comfortable, but his
playful nature is never too far beneath the surface. Once Anders realizes he is safe, you’ll discover
a clever, affectionate kitten who enjoys having fun and cuddling with the people he trusts. Like his
siblings, he has an independent streak and is quite capable of doing his own thing, but there is a
loving little companion waiting behind that initial shyness. Smart, playful, and cuddly once he knows
you, Anders is ready to be adopted into his forever home—one that will welcome him into the family
and keep him safely indoors.
