ADOPTION PROFILE

Edward

Edward

Edward

Rescue:

Edward first appeared on Pet Patrol’s radar early in the summer when a photo of a handsome cat
was sent to us. At the time, everyone thought he might actually be the mother of four kittens living
outdoors, but when that mama and her babies were eventually rescued, it became clear this was
an entirely different cat with similar colouring. Then Edward disappeared, and for a while no one
knew where he had gone. One day, he suddenly resurfaced at another feeding station about a
block away, where he made two things very clear: he was definitely a boy, and he was very hungry!
Friendly and comfortable around people, Edward was brought into Pet Patrol’s care rather than
being left to fend for himself. He immediately showed us what a wonderfully laidback character he
is, happily accepting all the attention at the sanctuary while waiting to be neutered. He ate, drank,
stretched himself across his cozy bed, and settled in as though he had always belonged there. This
goofy boy seems quite pleased with his change in circumstances and is more than ready to leave
outdoor life behind.

Personality:

Edward is a wonderfully social, easygoing boy who made himself right at home at the sanctuary. He
is comfortable sharing his space with other cats and absolutely lights up when his people arrive to
give him attention. Edward is more than happy to be picked up, carried around, and held, making it
quite clear that human affection is something he knows and loves. He has a playful and active side
too, and his curious nature means he enjoys investigating his surroundings and seeing what
everyone is up to. Given how comfortable he is with people and indoor life, it seems likely that
Edward was once someone’s cat and perhaps his adventurous spirit simply carried him a little too
far from home. Friendly, affectionate, curious, and adaptable, Edward is ready to be adopted into
his forever home—one that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
