Rescue:
Prince’s story began on a quiet dairy farm tucked away along a rural country road. The property
had recently changed ownership when one day a tiny, hungry cat appeared outside the barn, crying
for help. The new owners had never seen cats living in the area before, but they couldn’t ignore the
little visitor. They began putting out both wet and dry food, and it quickly became clear that Prince
had been fending for himself for quite some time. He eagerly devoured every serving of wet food
while turning his nose up at the kibble whenever he could. Surrounded by farmland where stray
cats were uncommon, it seemed likely that Prince had been abandoned rather than born nearby.
He remained at the farm for nearly two months until one day the family noticed painful scrapes
across his shoulders. No one knew what had happened, but it was obvious that life outdoors was
becoming increasingly dangerous. Wanting to give this sweet boy the safe future he deserved, they
contacted Pet Patrol for help. Prince was welcomed into our care, where he no longer has to worry
about finding food or facing the many dangers of life outside. Now, all that’s left is for him to find the
loving forever home he has always deserved.
Personality:
Prince is an absolute love bug who makes it clear he has known the comforts of a home before.
From the moment he arrived at the sanctuary, he seemed to recognize that he was finally safe,
happily settling into the soft beds as though he’d been waiting for them all along. He adores people
and forms trusting relationships incredibly quickly, soaking up every pet and cuddle he can get.
When it’s time for a nap, Prince has perfected the art of relaxation, sprawling out across his
favourite cozy spot and sleeping so soundly that not much can disturb him. Gentle, affectionate,
and wonderfully easygoing, Prince is the kind of companion who will happily spend his days close
to his family, enjoying all the comforts of indoor life. Prince is ready to be adopted into his forever
home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
