Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a message from a woman who operates a small rescue after she became
aware of a growing situation involving cats in desperate need of help. Years earlier, Pet Patrol had
assisted the same family living on the rural property by taking in some kittens and adult cats. At the
time, the property had already been quite cluttered and difficult to manage, but sadly conditions had
worsened significantly following the passing of the father in the family. When help finally arrived,
many of the cats were suffering from lice, worms, ticks, malnourishment, and being underweight.
Wanting to give as many cats as possible a chance at a healthier future, Pet Patrol brought several
into care, including Kalika, Katera, Kishil, Kachina, Kanti, Kamani, Kemi, and Kiko. Both adults and
kittens are now receiving the medical care, proper nutrition, and safety they desperately needed.
There are still more cats remaining on the property, and it is hoped that additional rescues will be
possible in time with the owners’ cooperation.

Personality:

Kemi & Kanti are a delightful bonded pair of fluffy little tornadoes who bring nonstop fun, laughter,
and cuddles wherever they go. When they’re in play mode, these two can be found racing through
tunnels, chasing each other around the house, and proudly carrying toys and springs in their
mouths like prized treasures. Both absolutely adore attention and are more than happy to be picked
up, cuddled, and showered with affection. Kanti is a hilarious character who never seems to run out
of energy, but once his adventures are over, he transforms into a cuddle bug who loves curling up
with his sister for a nap. Kemi is equally playful but has a particularly sweet side, complete with a
loud purr and a love of snuggling close under your arm at bedtime. She even enjoys playing with
her dog brother’s fluffy tail when given the chance. Together, they are the perfect balance of playful
and affectionate, and their bond is impossible to miss. Kemi and Kanti are ready to be adopted into
their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
