Nox

Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a call from a woman who had been feeding a young cat she noticed visiting her
home starting in November, just as winter was setting in. With cold winds and one of the snowiest
winters in recent memory, she made sure the cat—now named Nixie—had food and some
protection from the weather. Nixie ate on the back deck and had access to a small tentlike shelter
with a cat house inside, which helped block the wind though the cold was still harsh. Found in the
heart of a small village surrounded by farmland, it’s unclear exactly where Nixie originally came
from, though a large roaming orange tom was often seen nearby. Over time, Nixie became
friendlier, and it soon became clear that she was pregnant. The night before she gave birth, the
woman brought her into a heated garage so she could deliver her kittens safely. Nixie and her
babies Nadia, Nisha, Nox, Nollie, and Nibbler stayed there for their first week before coming into
Pet Patrol’s care. Now safe indoors, Nixie and her kittens have a much brighter future ahead.

Personality:

Nox is a rambunctious, playful little boy who has grown to become a confident companion to boot.
He takes almost no time to warm up in new situations, especially if his mom is nearby, as she
bolsters his already adevnturous spirit. He loves exploring, wrestling with his sister Nisha, and
joining in on games with other kittens. His absolute favourite toys include a circlular ballintrack toy
and a fuzzy squirrel he can bunny kick for hours on end. When his siblings are around, you’ll find
him sprinting up and down the halls or playing hideandseek behind the shower curtain. And when
it’s time for sleep, he cuddles up with his bestie Nisha on the top shelf of the cat tree and will purr
loudly as his humans come give him sleepy pets. With his love for playtime, Nox is ready to be
adopted together into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him
safely indoors.
