Rescue:
Pet Patrol received an email from a woman looking to rehome her two beloved cats, Tom and Jerry.
When she first found them, they were living in an environment that was not safe or suitable, and
she stepped in to give them a better life. Over the past five years, she has cared for them with love
and dedication, helping them grow into the wonderful companions they are today. Unfortunately,
due to worsening allergies, she is no longer able to keep them, despite doing everything she could
to manage it over the years. Wanting the very best for them, she made the difficult decision to seek
a new home where they can continue to thrive. Now in Pet Patrol’s care, Tom and Jerry are ready
for their next chapter—together.
Personality:
Tom and Jerry are a bonded pair of brothers with big personalities and even bigger hearts. Jerry is
the more vocal of the two and loves to “chat,” happily meowing back and forth with his people.
While he may be a little nervous at first, especially around new environments or loud noises, once
he feels safe he becomes incredibly affectionate, cuddly, and loyal. Tom, lovingly known as the
“Walmart greeter,” is the first to welcome you at the door, always ready to shower you with attention
and make you feel at home. Together, they are playful, curious, and full of quirky charm—you may
even find them climbing to unexpected places or hiding in the funniest spots. They enjoy their naps
just as much as their playtime and are wellmannered for things like nail trims. Having come from a
difficult start, they have blossomed into gentle, loving companions. They would do best in a calm,
adultonly home where they can stay together and continue to feel safe and loved. Tom and Jerry
are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and
keep them safely indoors.
