Geneva

Rescue:

Geneva, Gifford and Gypsy were born outside to a friendly mom who was abandoned at an
apartment building. It appears that someone moved out and just left her behind. Some of
the people in the apartment building had been feeding her and then with Covid limitations
she was not able to be spayed. As would happen, she became pregnant and had her kittens
under some bushes in a densely wooded area. Someone in the complex eventually
adopted her but the kittens were left on the street. There were six little ones and they were
very frightened. This was a low income area and apparently the tenants were not allowed
to set up a humane trap to rescue the babies, but luckily a neighbour who owns his home
offered to help. Unfortunately by this time there were only three kittens left. It is unknown if
they were rescued or became prey. Soon afterwards Pet Patrol was called and we offered
to take them in. They have thrived in their foster home.

Personality:

From her foster mom: Geneva was always the bravest kitten of the three. She loves to be
pet and will even roll on her back so you can rub her tum. She is a very playful girl and
especially fond of the wand toys with the string and toys attached; she gets some air jumping
after them. She will let me pick her up and she’s good with my kids. She loves her Temptation
treats too. Geneva is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that is gentle
and calm, and will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors
