Hi… my name is Tyson. 🐾
For a long time, I lived outside on my own in a small town. Winter was cold, and some days felt very long and lonely. But I was lucky in one very important way… more than one kind human noticed me. One family began feeding me in the middle of winter, and another neighbour had also been leaving food out for me since before Christmas. I didn’t have a home, but those small acts of kindness helped keep me going when life outside was hard.
But living outside isn’t safe for a cat like me.
About a month ago, another street cat attacked me. I remember the terrible fear as I tried to escape beneath a parked car. My body struck the metal undercarriage as I struggled to get away. It was a whirlwind of claws and teeth, I feared for my life. I’m not a confrontational cat… I never wanted to fight.
When it was over, my left eye was badly damaged. It hurts so much, and everything feels scary and confusing. I’ve been trying to be brave, but the pain makes it hard.
The kind people who had been feeding me knew something was very wrong. With patience and care, they were finally able to bring me somewhere safe — Pet Patrol.
The vet says my eye is too badly damaged to save. The only way to take away the pain is surgery to remove it. It sounds scary, and I don’t understand everything that’s happening… but I know the people helping me want me to feel better.
Emergency care like this is expensive. My exam, medications, surgery, and recovery will all add up quickly. But Pet Patrol didn’t hesitate to help me — because they believe every cat deserves the chance to live without pain.
If you’re able to donate or share my story, you’re helping a once-forgotten outdoor cat finally get the care he desperately needs.
I was lucky that people fed me when I was hungry.
Now I’m hoping I can be lucky one more time… and get the help I need to heal.
With hopeful little purrs,
Tyson 🐱💙
