Rescue:
Jasmine has been a cherished companion since she was just a tiny kitten, adopted at eight weeks
old from a family friend’s litter. She has spent her entire life in a loving home, growing into a sweet
and affectionate cat who is deeply bonded with her people. About two and a half years ago, the
family welcomed a dog into the home, and unfortunately, the relationship has not been a good
match for Jasmine. The dog frequently chases her, leaving her feeling stressed and unable to fully
relax in her own space. Wanting to do what is best for her wellbeing and happiness, her family has
made the very difficult decision to relinquish Jasmine so she can find a calm, safe environment
where she can feel secure and at ease once again. Now in Pet Patrol’s care, Jasmine is ready for a
fresh start and a home where she can return to being the relaxed, content companion she has
always been.
Personality:
Jasmine is a gentle and affectionate girl who loves being close to her people. While she isn’t fond
of being picked up, she happily shows her love by sitting beside you on the sofa or curling up on
her favourite blanket at the end of the bed. She has a comforting daily routine and enjoys the
simple pleasures in life—lounging in sunny spots, watching birds from the window, and relaxing in
her cat tree. Jasmine has a playful side, too, and enjoys games where you toss her toys, and she
chases after them. She especially loves drinking fresh water from the tap and will happily join you
for this little ritual. With her soft, beautiful coat and calm, easygoing nature, Jasmine is a wonderful
companion who would thrive in a quiet home without dogs, where she can feel safe, loved, and
truly at peace again. Jasmine is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome
her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
