Rescue:
Pet Patrol received a call from a farm property where cats were cared for in a more traditional rural
setting. The owner was concerned about a beautiful calico tabby named Willow who was showing
signs of an upper respiratory infection and needed help. When Willow arrived in our care, it became
clear she also had an eye infection and an ear infection that required treatment. She spent some
time at the sanctuary receiving the medical care she needed and slowly regained her strength and
health. During that time Willow showed everyone what a sweet and friendly girl she truly is. Once
she was feeling better, she was spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. The farm owner felt that
such a lovely cat deserved the chance to live safely in a home with a family, and Pet Patrol was
happy to help give Willow that opportunity for a brighter future.
Personality:
Willow is a gentle, affectionate girl who has quickly discovered the comforts of indoor life. Having
never lived inside before, it has been delightful watching her explore her surroundings as if she’s
discovering a whole new world—warm floors, cozy beds, and plenty of attention from people. She
is easy to pick up and loves gentle pets, happily soaking up affection whenever it’s offered. Willow
has a calm and sweet nature and enjoys quiet playtime with small stuffies or balls, but she is just as
content curling up for a cozy nap in a cushy bed or box. Her foster describes her as quiet, cuddly,
and incredibly loving—a truly wonderful companion. Willow is ready to be adopted into her forever
home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
