Rescue:
Kaya and her daughter Yuzu are coming into Pet Patrol’s care from a home where they were loved
but could no longer stay. Kaya originally arrived as a newborn kitten and grew up as a cherished
family cat. Over time, and not being spayed, she had two litters, and Yuzu, is her daughter from the
second litter. The two have always lived closely together and share a strong bond. Recently, a
member of the household began experiencing worsening allergies, making it difficult for the family
to continue caring for them. Wanting the best for both cats, they made the difficult decision to seek
help so Kaya and Yuzu could find a home where they could remain together. Now safe with Pet
Patrol, this motherdaughter pair is ready to begin a new chapter and find a calm, loving home
where they can stay side by side.
Personality:
Kaya and Yuzu make a lovely little duo, each bringing their own personality while enjoying each
other’s company. Kaya is the calm and gentle one, happy to relax nearby and enjoy quiet pets from
her people. She has a peaceful nature and enjoys simple things like watching birds through the
window or chasing a laser toy across the floor. Yuzu, on the other hand, is the playful spark in the
pair. She loves chasing balls, crinkly toys, and anything that slides across the floor. Curious and
energetic, she keeps life entertaining while still enjoying cuddle time once she feels comfortable.
Together they share cozy naps, birdwatching sessions, and a comfortable routine. Both girls enjoy
being near their people and settling in for a good sleep on the bed at night. Kaya and Yuzu would
do best in a calm home where they can continue their lives together as a bonded motherdaughter
pair. Kaya and Yuzu are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them
into the family and keep them safely indoors.
