Rescue:
Shadow came to Pet Patrol after his young owners faced financial hardship and were required to
leave their apartment. With five cats to place and nowhere safe to bring them, they made the
responsible choice to seek rescue support. As they prepared to move into a home with two large
dogs known to have a strong prey drive, they knew their indooronly cats would not be safe.
Shadow had only ever lived inside and had not been exposed to dogs or other cats beyond his
brother. Though the decision was difficult, his owners wanted him to have stability and security.
Personality:
Shadow is a curious and inquisitive boy who loves to explore every corner of his world. He takes
his role as a feline guardian seriously, always keeping an eye on things to make sure everything is
just as it should be. Recently, he’s discovered the fun of toys and playtime, especially chasing a
laser light and zooming through his tunnel. Shadow would do best as the only cat in the home, as
he truly enjoys being the center of attention and soaking up all the love for himself. He’s also quite
the chatterbox and will happily “tell” you all about his day. With his engaging personality and love of
companionship, Shadow is a wonderful and entertaining companion. Shadow is ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
