Rescue:

Demi’s story began in a small village, where a calico mother cat was often seen traveling from a
nearby dairy farm into town in search of food. In mid to late summer, she arrived with three kittens,
teaching them where to find scraps near the general store and seasonal food truck. A kind man
working part time at the store noticed the family during his daily routines and, while their mother
kept her distance, he was able to earn the trust of two small male kittens. Demi was one of them.
Wanting to keep her safe, the man brought her home, but soon realized he was in over his head.
With limited income, unaltered resident cats, and no access to affordable veterinary care, he
struggled to meet everyone’s needs. When he could no longer manage alone, help was sought,
and Pet Patrol stepped in. Demi remained in care until space opened in rescue, giving her the
chance to move toward safety, stability, and a brighter future.

Personality:

Demi is the world champion of lap lounging and takes her job very seriously. This chatty girl loves
to approach you during quiet moments, using her soft trills and chirps to gently remind you that it’s
time to sit down and give her your full attention. There is truly no such thing as too much lap time
for Demi—she’ll roll onto her side, melt into your touch, and purr endlessly as you stroke her bunny­
soft fur. When the house is busy, she prefers to tuck herself away for a peaceful nap, thriving in
calm, cozy environments once the day’s hustle settles. Though she’s laid back by nature, Demi
absolutely has a playful streak and enjoys chasing spring toys with her feline friends. She would
appreciate another cat companion but can also do well as long as she receives plenty of affection.
While she may seem shy at first with new people, gentle patience quickly earns you a devoted lap
companion. Demi is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the
family and keep her safely indoors.
