Willa

Willa

Rescue:

Willa was first noticed by a woman who works in animal rescue and regularly monitors lost and
found pet pages. A post had appeared about a lovely cat roaming in a busy, congested area during
the heart of winter. With heavy snow, strong winds, and below zero temperatures, there was
serious concern for her safety. The woman went to the location where Willa had last been seen and
asked neighbours if anyone recognized her, but no one knew where she belonged. It was clear she
didn’t have a safe place to go. Willa was brought into temporary care while efforts were made to
locate her owner. Despite searches and outreach, no one came forward to claim her. Now safely
indoors, Willa is ready to find a home where she’ll never have to brave the cold streets again.

Personality:

Willa was clearly grateful to be warm and safe inside. Within an hour of arriving, she was already
gazing up at people with hopeful eyes. Though she may appear a little unsure at first glance, the
moment you reach out your hand, she leans right into pets and soaks up every second of affection.
Willa loves flopping over for belly rubs and has the sweetest, most endearing personality. She has
an adorable little meow and isn’t shy about using it to let you know when she’s ready for attention.
With her gentle, loving nature, Willa is an affectionate companion who just wants to be cherished.
Willa is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and
keep her safely indoors.
