Charlie

Rescue:

Charlie and his siblings arrived at Pet Patrol with their mother, Jules. A local had found the group living on the streets, fighting with the reality of avoiding predators and cars, and always trying to find food before starvation set in. Their rescuer knew it was time to bring this fluffy family indoors before the weather took a turn for the worse. However, while goodhearted, the home was quite crowded. The woman loved cats and had a few of her own. Over time, the woman recognized her own limits. She was dealing with health issues of her own, so she reached out to Pet Patrol to help Charlie and the others received the dedicated attention they needed food, water, veterinary care, and love. Now safe and sound, Charlie is ready to live a life in the spotlight.

Personality:

Charlie is a big snuggle bug who absolutely loves laps and being carried over the shoulder. He’s playful and enjoys chasing flying toys, but he also has excellent manners—he uses his scratch posts and has never been interested in scratching couches. One of his most adorable features is his cute bobbed tail, which perfectly matches his sweet personality. Charlie is very social and people oriented; he always wants to be in the same room as his humans and truly enjoys their company. He’s a pro at nail trims when wrapped up cozy in a blanket, and he takes mealtime very seriously—never late for breakfast or dinner, where he happily enjoys his wet food. Charlie is also particular about his litter box and prefers it kept nice and clean. Charlie would thrive in a calm, adult only home where he can be the center of attention as the only cat. In return, he’ll offer endless affection, companionship, and snuggles.
