Rakita

Rescue:

Pet Patrol was contacted by a woman who was concerned about her daughter’s quickly growing
cat population at home. She had originally adopted two kittens — one male and one female — but without being spayed or neutered, the number of cats soon multiplied. Sunkist was one of the kittens growing up in this lively feline family. What began as just two companions had grown into a household of fourteen friendly felines, all living indoors and used to children, attention, and affection. Knowing that this was more than her daughter could manage, the family reached out for help. Over the course of two weeks, the cats and kittens were brought into Pet Patrol’s care in small groups. Each one received a full veterinary check, including spay or neuter surgery, and then was welcomed into the sanctuary or foster homes. Thanks to this family’s willingness to seek support and Pet Patrol’s quick response, Rakita now has the chance to find a safe, loving forever home — with the comfort and care she deserves.

Personality:

Rakita may be the smallest of her siblings, but she has the biggest personality. She is friendly, cuddly, and full of confidence, always ready to meet new people without hesitation. Brave and adventurous, Rakita loves exploring her surroundings and being part of whatever is happening.
She enjoys affection and attention and isn’t shy about seeking it out. Rakita is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
