Marty

Rescue:

Pet Patrol was contacted by a woman who independently rescues cats and then seeks
organizations to help rehome them. She explained that an elderly woman on a farm, 93 years old,
had a pregnant female cat, Minnie, who urgently needed a safe place before giving birth. The cat’s
only shelter was the porch and under it. Arrangements were made, and soon she was picked up —
but within a short time it became clear something wasn’t right. The cat, now named Minnie, gave
birth to three kittens, later named Merlin, Marty and Mouse, and by the time they came into care the
kittens were about three weeks old — tiny, wide eyed, with their little ears just beginning to stand.
Once settled safely in the woman’s laundry room with beds and food, it was discovered Minnie had
no signs of nursing — she was not the mother. Further inquiries confirmed their actual mom was
still on the farm, but the family would not surrender her. The kittens were raised by a vet tech who
bottle fed and cared for them, ensuring they grew strong and socialized — and now these little ones
are ready for adoption and a loving, indoor forever home.

Personality:

Marty is a sweet, fluffy black and white boy with adorable fluffy eyebrows that make him impossible
to resist. He loves attention and being held like a baby, and his purrs are wonderfully loud, showing
just how happy he is when cuddled. Marty is also playful and curious. He enjoys chasing toys,
exploring his surroundings, and joining in on fun with his kitten friends. He’s the perfect mix of
snuggly affection and lively play, bringing joy and warmth wherever he goes. Marty is ready to find
a forever home where he can share his love and energy. Like all kittens, he should be kept safely
indoors to stay healthy and protected.
