Rescue:
A woman who lives not far from the sanctuary discovered a young tabby outside, thin, disheveled,
and clearly without a home. Wanting to help, she brought the cat indoors, fed her, and made her
safe and comfortable while she checked every online lost pet site she could find. After exhausting
all possible leads and finding no owner, she reached out to Pet Patrol. Having previously
volunteered for a large city shelter before moving to this area, she was unsure where to turn for
help in a new community and was relieved to learn Pet Patrol was nearby and able to assist.
Saqqara was accepted into our care so she could receive proper veterinary attention, stability, and
the opportunity to find a loving forever home where she would never again be left to fend for
herself.
Personality:
Saqqara is a gentle, softhearted girl who has truly blossomed in a loving home environment. She
adores quiet affection and will happily curl up on a lap for pats, purring contentedly as she relaxes
into the attention. Recently, she has begun to show her playful side, calmly waiting for her favourite
playtime each day and joining in with sweet enthusiasm. Saqqara gets along beautifully with other
cats and has formed a special bond with her foster’s male cat, often choosing to sleep close to him
at night for comfort. She has a peaceful, easygoing nature and appreciates a calm household
where she can enjoy companionship, routine, and gentle love. Saqqara is ready to be adopted into
her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
