Rescue:
A woman who does smallscale cat rescue in her town was approached by someone looking for
help placing two young kittens. Their mother is an outdoor cat who has managed to avoid the trap
so far, but the rescuer has committed to continuing attempts until she can be caught, fixed, and
returned safely to her territory. The woman currently feeds several outdoor cats in her area and has
already had the others spayed or neutered — this last elusive mama is the only one still remaining
to be caught. The two kittens, Faye and Finn, were able to be picked up easily and brought into
safety. They were cared for indoors, socialized, and given the chance to be warm, fed, and relaxed
while the mother continues to be monitored for trapping. These sweet siblings are now in Pet Patrol
care and ready for adoption, where they can finally begin secure indoor lives of their own.
Personality:
Faye and Finn are the perfect complementary pair. Faye is a gentle, slightly shy girl who warms up
quickly once she trusts you. When she feels safe, she happily jumps onto your lap, purrs for
attention, and soaks in gentle pets. She loves playtime, especially in the tunnel and small toys she
can bat around the room. When she’s done playing she likes to nestle into cozy spaces — on the
cat tree, on your lap, or tucked under a chair. Finn is very friendly, outgoing, and loves human
interaction. He tries to be the first onto your lap, gives little kisses, and watches everything you do
as if he doesn’t want to miss a thing. He is a busy, active kitten who loves all toys and chasing his
sister enthusiastically. When he settles, he likes to snuggle up with people — often either curled on
a lap or tucked under a chair for a cozy nap. Faye & Finn are ready to be adopted into their forever
home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
