Rescue:
Tiny sisters Pippa and Pandra were heard crying desperately for help from high atop a wagon
loaded with hay in a drive shed. Their rescuer climbed a ladder and found them huddled together
on the straw, weak and starving. Only days earlier, he had seen their mother — a feral cat — struck
and killed on the nearby road. She had likely chosen the shed for safety while raising her kittens,
but after losing her, the babies were left alone. Unsure what to do, the man fed them cow’s milk
with an eyedropper until Pet Patrol could take them in. Once safely in care, Pippa and Pandra
eagerly tucked into kitten food, supplemented with formula, and began to thrive. Their tiny cries
were soon replaced with happy purrs as they regained their strength and learned what it meant to
feel warm, loved, and full.
