Rescue:
Bumble and Bea were born on the enclosed porch of a home. It wasn’t heated, but it offered roof
and shelter. The people tending to the mother cat provided bedding, food, and water, and with
guidance from Pet Patrol were able to create a warmer, more insulated space using a box and
blanket. When the kittens reached six weeks of age, the family found homes for two of them, and
Bumble and Bea came into Pet Patrol care. They were a bit underweight and had fleas, but were
otherwise alert, happy, and curious little kittens. Their mother stayed with the family who cared for
her, and Pet Patrol made sure Bumble and Bea received proper veterinary care, nutrition, and the
chance at a safe indoor future.
Personality:
Bumble and Bea are a sweet, affectionate bonded pair who adore spending time with people and
each other. Bumble is playful, energetic, and loves being involved in whatever is happening. He
enjoys being picked up, jumping onto your lap, and chasing wand toys, springs, and other kittens
around the room. Bea is petite and equally people-oriented, happily accepting pets, being pickedup for cuddles, and “telling stories” with her little voice. She loves toys as much as her brother and
joins in every game, and when the fun is done she settles in to nap on a lap or curled up beside
Bumble on a cozy blanket. They bring out each other’s confidence, are comfortable together, and
offer the perfect mix of gentle affection and kitten playfulness. They are ready to be adopted into
their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
