Rescue:

Two Pet Patrol volunteers visited a traditional farm where the owners mentioned they had extra
cats who needed help. After the volunteers collected the kittens, the farm owners then introduced
them to two friendly adult cats as well — Genesis and Genaya. These two girls were clearly
affectionate, people oriented,
and used to gentle interaction. The farmers expressed that these cats
deserved better than living their lives outdoors in a barn, and hoped they could be given the chance
to live safely indoors with soft beds, warm laps, and toys to enjoy. Genesis and Genaya were gently
picked up and placed into carriers, then brought into Pet Patrol care so they could begin their
journey toward loving, permanent homes where they would never again be left outside to fend for
themselves.

Personality:

Genaya is a super sweet girl who loves affection and wants nothing more than to be close to her
people. She happily gives gentle head butts, nose-to-nose
rubs, and melts into cuddles when you
wrap your arms around her. Calm and easygoing, she enjoys simple comfort — a warm bed, a
quiet space, and soft companionship. She also loves playing with the wire dancer toy and spring
toys, but her favourite thing in the world is attention. After life on a barn property, Genaya has made
it very clear she prefers the comfort, safety, and warmth of indoor living. She is ready to be adopted
into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
