Rescue:
This year has brought a steady stream of calls for help, sometimes for a single cat, sometimes for
many. That’s how Holly, Hudson, Halo, and Hope found their way to Pet Patrol. A woman arriving at
the sanctuary with one rescued cat happened to mention that she had more kittens waiting in her
car. These four little ones had been discovered near a small bed and breakfast
in a nearby village, where the aroma of food often drew strays to the back door. Abandoned and left to fend for
themselves, the kittens were found huddled under a deck, crying for help. Though they were of
different ages, all were in need of safety, care, and love. Thanks to quick action and compassion,
they were rescued together and brought into Pet Patrol’s care, where they are now thriving and
ready to begin new lives with families of their own.
Personality:
Meet Halo! This playful, spirited girl is ready for a fresh start after a challenging beginning. Halo is
full of personality and isn’t shy about letting you know what she wants—whether it’s food, cuddles,
or playtime! She thrives with patient, understanding humans and loves to explore, chase toys, and
snuggle once she trusts you. Halo would do well with a gentle cat or as the only cat in the home,
where she can soak up all the love and attention. Halo is ready to share her affectionate, playful,
and charming self with a family who will give her patience, care, and plenty of cuddles. For her
safety and happiness, Halo should always be kept indoors, where she can enjoy a secure, loving,
and playful life.
