Rescue:
Rosa Lee is a petite cat who was rescued from off of the streets. She was found in a subdivision
that has a lot of backyards with sheds, decks and a wooded area. These are all places
for a cat to find shelter, but also places for fox, coyote and hawks to reside. Cats
along with squirrels and rabbits can become targets for these predators and their life expectancy
is short. Rosa Lee was just young and innocent, but so fearful and uncertain of
what was happening around her. A woman seeing this pretty little girl so alone, felt that
Rose Lee needed to be rescued and soon brought her into Pet Patrol care. When she first
arrived, she was considered feral by her rescue home, but she has proven to be more timid
than anything, and today she is a lovely affectionate little girl.
Personality:
Rosa Lee has been handled by people before as she is quite cuddly and affectionate. She
will lean into you for hugs and cuddles, and likes to be pet and have her ears rubbed. She
was a bit a nipper when she arrived, so it seems that she was played with roughly, but she
is much better about that now, preferring to chew on her toys instead. Those funny things
intrigue her to no end. Rose Lee loves toys and is ecstatic about the ones that she has
been offered at the sanctuary. The kitty climber is exciting and she has a good view of the
bird feeders outside. She has no interest in being out there any more, but it is like kitty TV
for her. Rosa Lee is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her
into the family and keep her safely indoors.
