Rescue:
Pet Patrol was contacted after five young kittens were discovered on a quiet country road between
two small towns. They appeared out of a ditch, desperate for help, and ran desperately to the
humans. They were anxiously crying and began climbing up the rescuer’s legs despite her two
large dogs. Starving, sick, and only about six weeks old, the kittens had clearly been abandoned.
After being brought safely home, their rescuer returned and found their mother, Stella, nearby.
Despite her poor condition, she had been doing her best to care for her babies. Stella eagerly came
forward, as if relieved to finally receive help. The little family was brought to safety, examined by a
vet, and began to thrive in foster care. With plenty of food, warmth, and love, the kittens grew
stronger each day and blossomed into a happy, playful bunch — four girls with big personalities,
each bonded in pairs, and their devoted mama watching proudly nearby.
Personality:
Autumn is a fuzzy tabby girl with the prettiest golden undertones behind her ears — the perfect
name for a kitten found in early autumn. She’s playful, vocal, and full of charm, often carrying her
favorite woven toys from room to room. Autumn is affectionate and enjoys being close to people,
always quick to purr when you give her attention. She is very close with her sister Amy; the two love
to wrestle and nap side by side after a big play session. Autumn is ready to be adopted into her
forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
