Rescue:

In a small town Smarties and Spritz were found taking shelter in a neighbour’s shed, which is
usually left open and used for storing equipment like a tractor and snow blower. The weather had
been extremely hot and humid, and the kittens were often seen darting in and out of the shed,
looking for shade and safety. It took some time and patience to rescue them, as they were wary and
quick to hide among the machinery. A humane trap was set, and eventually both kittens were safely
brought into care. There was one more little kitten roaming around, now alone and disoriented, and
successful efforts were made and now no one is left behind. Snickerdoodle is now reuntied with his
brothers Smarties and Spritz. They are safe, cool, and learning to trust in their new surroundings.

Personality:

Spritz has come such a long way, and his gentle soul shines brighter every day. While still a little
skittish when he’s out and about, he’s learning to trust and shows how much love he has to give.
He enjoys chasing toys and especially loves playing with the wand, pouncing with excitement.
Spritz has a few “no touch zones” where he goes for alone time, but when he’s in his hammock or
stretched out on the cat tree, he absolutely melts for affection. He purrs, kneads biscuits, and even
drools happily when getting pets. He’ll also climb into your lap for a churu treat, showing just how
much he loves being close to his people. Calm, sweet, and never unkind—even when nervous—
Spritz is a truly special boy. With a little patience and a lot of love, he will blossom into the most
loyal and affectionate companion. Spritz is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will
welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
