Rescue:

Jabra’s story began at a set of storage units in a small town not far from the sanctuary. Along with
her mother, Jacqui, she lived there under the care of a kind gentleman who made sure they had
food each day. Life at the storage units was far from safe, but it was all they knew. A skilled Pet
Patrol volunteer set out to bring the little family to safety. Jacqui, the mother, was the first to be
trapped and brought into care. Jabra proved more elusive, but eventually she too was secured and
welcomed to the sanctuary. At first, everyone thought Jabra was a young male cat — until her first
health check revealed otherwise. To Pet Patrol’s surprise, she was not only a girl, but also
pregnant. Safe and sheltered at last, Jabra soon gave birth to a beautiful litter of kittens. Thanks to
the perseverance of volunteers and the compassion of strangers, both she and her babies were
spared the dangers of life outdoors.

Personality:

Jabra is a gentle, affectionate girl with a heart full of sweetness. She loves attention and happily
leans into pets, purring softly to show her appreciation. Playful and active, she enjoys chasing toys
and exploring her surroundings, but she also has a calm, easy-going side that makes her a lovely
companion. Jabra gets along well with other cats, especially her sister Jackie, though she prefers a
quieter home with just one feline friend rather than a busy multicat
environment. Life at the
sanctuary can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming for her, so she’s ready for a cozy home where
she can relax, play, and soak up all the love she deserves. Jabra is ready to be adopted into her
forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
