Rescue:
Eliza and her four kittens were discovered living just off a busy industrial road, with little shelter
beyond the spaces under large storage bins. As the weather grew colder, a Pet Patrol volunteer set
traps to bring the little family to safety. Two kittens were rescued the first evening, and the following
night the other two were safely caught. Their mother, however, was more cautious and spent more
than two weeks evading the traps—until finally her hunger overcame her fear and she stepped
inside. At last, the whole family was safe. Eliza was brought to the sanctuary, while her kittens—
Electra, Ebyss, Ebony, and Echo—settled into the warmth of a foster home, where they could grow
up secure and loved.
Personality:
Electra is a beautiful torti kitten with equal parts charm and sass. Still adjusting to her new indoor
life, she shines once she feels safe, leaning into ear scratches with a loud purr. Shy at first, Electra
warms up quickly with patience (and a treat or two—she can’t resist Churus!). Once you’ve earned
her trust, she’ll show off her best jumps, flips, and pounces. Electra would do best in a quieter
home with another cat, ideally one of her siblings, where she can flourish into the playful,
affectionate girl she’s meant to be. Electra is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that
will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
