Rescue:
Pet Patrol received a call from a traditional farm where a mother cat had chosen a strawfilled
bucket as her nursery. A photo showed her curled tightly around her kittens against a cold cement
wall—far from cozy, but all she had. When a volunteer arrived on a quiet summer day, the little
family had been moved into a chicken box, offering slightly more shelter. The mama cat, though thin
and tired, was friendly and devoted, passing along her sweet nature to her kittens: Eccles, Éclair,
and Eggnog. Thanks to Pet Patrol, these kittens grew up safe, cared for, and loved, now ready for
homes of their own.
Personality:
Eccles is the most “well dressed
gentleman” of the litter, always looking ready to attend the cuddle
party—and you’re his +1. Bigger than his siblings, he’s also the biggest love bug. He follows people
around the house, weaving between feet whenever he wants attention, and he’s always happy to
oblige with loud purrs. His favorite game is with the ball track toy, though nothing beats carrying
around his beloved little duck toy with pride. He loves a good wrestle with Eggnog and thrives on
play and affection in equal measure. Eccles is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that
will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
